Something like $30-40 a month would do great for me, especially that I only shoot local non-profit documentaries, or planning to do some Youtube videos, so the camera was overkill, but I guess I'm stuck with it now, and I'm using Linux, so all the paid alternatives are quite expensive, and Lightworks Outright License is more expensive than Resolve. The license expires every month, and it needs to be reactivated through the net just like a cloud subscription, so if a payment is missed, Resolve will deactivate or lose all the paid features, until the recurring payment has been processed again and the License has been re-activated one more time. No, it's not like a Cloud Subscription, it's more paying in Installments with a warranty that the buyer will fulfill the contract without a credit-line or anything. I'd like to request if we can have the ability to buy Resolve through a renting sorta contract, something like we pay monthly, until it gets paid in full and we keep the License. I've broken the bank already, and I need the Davinci Resolve so much with the camera I have right now, and I can't ask for a refund or just return the camera, because I was in fault not paying clear attention to everything, and I admit that. I was planning to wait until I get the BMPCC4K to get Resolve alongside with it, however, the deals' fever recently blinded me to read everything on eBay, so I bought a used URSA Mini and it came with no Dongle or Key Card, and when I got back to the seller, he said it was stated on their page, that the dongle was sold separately, and that would justify the extra $100 discount even for a used camera, which was still more expensive than the BMPCC4K.
